This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to request funding for supplies in our STEAM class. As a new STEAM teacher, I am dedicated to providing my students with the best educational experience possible, and having access to the necessary supplies is crucial for their learning and growth.

STEAM education integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration among students.

Here is a breakdown of the supplies we are requesting:

1. Art Supplies

Art is an essential component of STEAM class. It allows students to express their creativity and develop their artistic skills. With the requested art supplies, our students will have the opportunity to experiment with different mediums, such as paints, brushes, and clay. These materials will enable them to create artwork that integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts.

2. Science Kits

Science is a fundamental aspect of STEAM education. By providing science kits, we can offer our students the opportunity to conduct experiments and explore scientific concepts in a hands-on manner.

3. Woodburning Kit

Woodworking is a valuable skill that combines art and engineering. By incorporating a woodburning kit into our STEAM class, students will have the chance to learn about woodworking techniques while creating unique designs on wood. This hands-on experience will enhance their understanding of craftsmanship, design principles, and the use of tools.

By providing these supplies, we will create a dynamic and engaging learning environment for our students.

We kindly request funding in the amount of $544.26 to acquire the necessary supplies. Investing in our students' education and providing them with the tools they need to succeed will have a lasting impact on their academic and future career paths.
