My Students

I love that my 3rd class is full of 25 bright, energetic and busy students! They learn so much in 3rd grade-reading to learn, multiplication and division facts, and cursive!

My students are diverse in their interests, learning styles, and personalities.

As their teacher, I want to make learning fun for every one of my students. To enhance their learning, I hope to use STEM activities as a way to meet their needs and help them to develop critical thinking as well.

My Project

My students love hands-on activities. I would like to incorporate STEM bins with an art component into my classroom. Designing, building, drawing and writing about a structure will help my students use their creativity and critical thinking skills.

Every student in my class loves hands-on activities, especially STEM activities.

My project needs pencil cases for storage, wooden blocks, base ten blocks, dominoes, wooden planks, and magnetic tiles. Students will use different materials to build different structures. My hope is that my students will be creative, happy students while in my 3rd grade classroom and for the rest of their life.
