My Students

I have a classroom full of curious young learners who are excited about learning. Kindergarten is the beginning of their educational journey. This is the age that we can capture their curiosity. These students are the future leaders, doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, engineers, business men and women of the world. While my classroom isn't full of ethnic diversity, it's full of diverse learners who are just at the beginning of their educational career. Each one of these students has the ability to become something great in life! My students have the desire to learn about the world around them. We should inspire students' curiosity by giving them things they can build dendrites through exploration.

My Project

Kindergarten students need hands-on activities to help build dendrites. This is the age where students do a lot of learning by doing/building with their hands. Students are more actively engaged in the learning process when they can use their hands and explore objects and make their own discoveries. In my classroom I have my centers set up in sets of 2, to help promote student interactions, team work and problem solving. These 3 skills are important skills for students to acquire from a young age, students need learn how to work together to build a better future for our country.
