Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students are learning to take care of their gifts. They appreciate their gifts and now come to the library regularly to read, build, design, and communicate. Their personalities are flourishing and they are expressing their personal interest across all grade levels.

A team of students from grades 6th through 8th are interested in designing a Roblox game from scratch.

At the moment we do not have any coding books related to their project. The team will meet once a week to design, research, and earn how to code.

The outcome will be collaboration across grade levels, entry-level coding skills will be developed, and students' interests will be met.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
