My Students

The media technology classes at our school are taught throughout middle and high school. It gives students the opportunity to be creative in a digital platform. To express creativity, I am looking to add digital photography as an option for students.

My students come from all walks of life.

We are a charter school, so we really run the gambit of all social classes and backgrounds. For some of the students, this will be the first time, and possibly only time, to use video cameras and editing software. For most students, my class is the most looked forward to because of the new experiences it brings to them.

My Project

In Digital Arts, some materials take a bit more abuse than others and Tripods are the ones that seem to break first. Currently, the Digital Arts class is running on a critical level of tripods for students to use, and most of them are on their last leg, literally.

Adding these six tripods will benefit the class tremendously!

They will aid in stabilizing the shots and help the students produce a better quality of video and photo projects. The tripods are the most necessary for the stop motion projects the students create. The use of tripods ensure a smooth animated project.
