My Students

My first-graders love to create and share stories with one another. After a year and a half of distance learning in pre-K and kindergarten, they are launching into in-person school full of energy and eager to learn.

In our class, we are readers, writers, creators, mathematicians, storytellers, investigators, and learners!

We are part of an arts magnet program, where the arts are integrated into all aspects of our school. Your support helps us to make their school experience a meaningful one.

My Project

My first graders have been such troupers going to school during the COVID-19 pandemic - first as virtual pre-K and kindergarteners, and now in person for first grade! They are super knowledgeable and responsible about safety protocols, reminding each other about mask wearing and eagerly sharing their experiences with getting vaccines. They are also VERY enthusiastic cleaners and love using wipes, dustpans, and any other cleaning tools!

With the new surge in the virus, we need a little extra support getting through the winter safely.

These individualized supplies and cleaning products will make it possible for us to maintain social distance while also keeping our classroom materials clean.
