This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Living in Phoenix can be tough! Our warmer months begin in April and it doesn't slow down. Most of our students come from low-income or refugee families.

By providing our students with water bottles, I know they will have water all day - at home and school.

I will be able to put their names on the bottles in different colors so they won't be confused. Most of my students show up without a water bottle, and are constantly asking to leave the room for water. They miss out on instruction and valuable learning time. With these bottles, I can make sure they have the water they need, at least on school grounds.
