This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first graders are highly enthusiastic, they are hard-working and creative individuals. Many come from low-income households but despite their hardships they come to class eager and ready to learn. They are currently in need of supplies and classroom resources that our school is unable to provide.

My students have faced many challenges during the pandemic, yet they have proven to be resilient through these tough times.

I truly care about them and I want them to have a successful learning experience.

My Project

Hello Donors, we truly need a speaker in our classroom. Our old speaker is no longer charging so I find myself either playing music on my phone or the computer which, as you may know, produces a poor quality of sound. We play music during circle time, we sing along, build language, but most importantly we need the music to stay fit and healthy. I am also requesting a small CD boombox, so my students can dance to their favorite songs and listen to their favorite stories. Both the speaker and boombox will be used to keep my students excited and motivated about learning.

Music ignites all areas of child's development and it enables all students to have a well-rounded education.

We hope you love music as much as we do!
