This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Third grade has state testing coming up in April in both reading and math. Last year we used these calming strips to help students keep themselves calm and focused during testing. We allow them as a choice tool as long as they are using them appropriately to take breaks.
Please help us get more focus strips for our upcoming testing.
Many students have test anxiety, so these tools will allow them to self-regulate and stay on target during testing. This is the first year we will be state testing and we appreciate your help! We would also appreciate snacks for break time as well to keep our learning fueled.
