Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from low-income households. Anything that I can do to help provide them is money coming out of my pocket. I care about them so much as if they were my own kids. They make the art room full of love, laughter, and fulfillment. My students enjoy art but can sometimes be difficult when supplies don't last as long as expected. I could give all my money to let my students enjoy art but it's impossible for me to do it myself. I need your help to make my students be able to get out of their comfort zone, apply their artistic abilities to their work to enjoy their time with me.

My Project

I need more tasks prepped and ready to go. That's why I am asking for a gift card to TeachersPayTeachers to help me provide extra resources for my students when they are finished creating a project they should work on a small activity such as a puzzle, a task box with directions, and small props to engage with. Because of the pandemic, my students have a gap in their education. I want to help my classroom teachers by providing sight words, alphabet fine motor skills, and art activities that help with the curriculum they are learning on a daily basis in their own homeroom.

My students need more practice with their curriculum.

These tasks I have on my wishlist of TeachersPayTeachers are going to help them practice their math, spelling, reading, and writing.
