My students need headphones. We asked for them to each have a set of headphones, however some families just can't afford them. Each student has a class iPad, therefore each child needs headphones.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

This group of kids struggle academically. However, they are making amazing gains this year, and I am super proud. Many of my kids have parents in the military, so they are accustomed to moving around, transferring schools, and making new friends.

Most of my students come from low income families.

They come from homes with one or no income. Students come to school expecting the very best from me, and I try to provide it. My classroom is a safe and easy place to be in. Students feel comfortable to speak their minds, make mistakes, and gain knowledge.

My Project

These headphones will allows students to plug in and stay focused on what they are working on on their iPad. Since each student has their own class iPad, each students needs head phones. This will reduce outside noise and distraction. The less distracted the students are, the more work they get done and more they learn. We have individualized so many things in education, now it is time to meet the basic needs of what the families can't afford to get. Thank you for your donation and helping my students become better readers and better writers.
