Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is an inclusion classroom with special ed. students along with regular ed. students. They are so eager to learn and are full of energy. Many of our students come from low-income households and school is a place they feel comfortable and safe.
With the hot weather upon us, my students need to have a fan, air conditioner and an air purifier in the classroom to keep the room cool and help with seasonal allergies.
It is so hard to focus on school work when you are hot and uncomfortable and our classroom gets soooo hot in May, June, August and September. Please help us to get a fan, air conditioner and air purifier to help make the school year more bearable.
