Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

How a child's day begins can have an enormous impact on their learning. By doing a "soft start" to their mornings, students will instead get to work with STEAM materials at their groups, while socializing at the same time. These materials will get their brains flowing and waking up to use throughout the day. Not only that, they don't have to worry about completing an assignment in the form of morning work. Morning work gives an unfair advantage to those who can make it to school on time. Those who are late shouldn't feel punished for it, as we never truly know the reason why they may be late.

Your donations will also go towards resources for math and reading centers to help students hone the skills they learn during whole-group lessons.

After beginning their day in a happy mood, they'll be able to give me their best effort with activities in math and reading. The $100 gift card will be more than enough to cover plenty of activities from centers to interactive notebooks, too.

Please help my students receive everything they need to have their greatest school year yet!
