This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am excited to meet my new students for the 2019-2020 school year. My students live in a small rural community in Northern California. Our school is departmentalized, meaning that all kindergarteners come in to my classroom everyday for math instruction. Kindergarten students are most of the time eager to learn and excited to see what the day will bring.

I would love to start the year with materials and not have to see if I am going to get donations from parents.

I am a teacher that wants to help develop my students growth by listening and watching my their interests. Your donation will nurture the growth in their discoveries.

My Project

I would love to start the year and not have to ask parents to donate right away. I usually ask the parents to donate items throughout the year and it would be nice to not have to ask them as soon as school starts.

I usually ask each parent to have their child bring a folder so they can have something for them to take their work home each week.

By the end of the school year it is ripped or they never bring one. I would like to provided each student with a plastic one that will last all school year long.

I would also like to have enough supplies such as pencils and erasers for not only my homeroom class but the other classes that come to me for math. Your donation will help my students start the year with what they will need!
