My Project

My project is to add supplies and a few Valentine treats to my class in the new year. Since COVID, I have found that kids have a shorter attention span and need to have more at their disposal. For their mental health it is always nice to have some type of special treat for them for the holidays. The magic clay is something they can do for fun that is off of the computer. Spending too much time on the computer throughout the day is not good for their mental and emotional health.

Learning math is so very important, and if I can make my room more comfortable for the kids, I will definitely do so.

Having pencils, earbuds, and dry erasers available when they need them helps take the stress off of them throughout the day. When they discover they do not have these items, it can be a stressor. It's not a stressor in my class, since I have them available when they need it. The Valentine bags of magic clay, gummy bears, and lollipops will help give them a little mental boost and make them feel loved.

I appreciate your kindness and generosity towards my students as we continue to make our way through the after effects of pandemic learning.
