Students in my school come from a low-income area where 99% of them are awarded free lunch. Many of them come from broken homes, bounce around to different relatives, and some are even in shelters. The school has 5-7 classes on each grade, and many classrooms have many students with special needs who need a little extra TLC, visuals, and repetition. My school offers these kids a warm, safe, and loving environment daily.
Although most students have a tough start in life, they come to school eager to learn and do their very best.
My Project
So many students come to school without any basic supplies. They are eager and ready to learn, but lack the tools to get started. By donating to this project, you're helping 30 students start the school year off the right way. Instead of worrying about where they are getting pencils and notebooks from, they'll be able to have mechanical pencils, lead, notebooks, folders, and binders.
By donating to this project, all students will be able to get the best start they can for their senior year in elementary school.
When they come in with no supplies, it will be no problem! They have enough to deal with and worry about, they shouldn't have to stress out that they cannot learn and succeed because they do not have basic supplies.
