This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Technology is so important in this day and age! My kindergartners are just starting out and are beginning to understand technology. I get the opportunity to introduce them to many fun, educational websites and programs that cater to their learning needs.

I am a second year teacher at a Title I school in Arizona.

My students usually come from families that are struggling to get by. We have a fantastic school and staff that care so deeply for the success and well-being of our students. My students deserve the same opportunity that any other child has. They are so eager to learn and are sponges with new information!

My Project

We are so lucky to have a Smartboard in our classroom. It is an interactive board that allows my students and me to use the board directly on its' surface. With this amazing piece of technology, my students are able to do hands-on learning right in front of the class where they are constantly teaching each other. This project will provide my students with actual programs specifically made for these interactive boards. They will be taken to a new level with the ability of this fantastic board. My students will be able to incorporate technology into their learning daily and effectively while meeting the Arizona State Standards.

My students are such grateful and deserving children.

The smallest things brighten their day! This new technology will be such a great addition to our classroom and will be able to foster a learning environment that teaches technology needed to succeed in this time!
