My Students

Every moment is a learning adventure in kindergarten. All learning is new and exciting. My students have so much fun experiencing every aspect of their day. From learning their letters and numbers to experiencing joy at simple things like recognizing their name for the first time. There is always something exciting happening in kindergarten.

Truly, everything you need to know you learn in kindergarten.

We are working together to build a community of learners with a foundation of kindness and compassion. We are learning core life skills such as share, take turns, clean up after yourself, honesty is the best policy, be respectful, be safe, and be kind.

We are tactile learners, experiencing everything through hands-on exploration. When we are able to experience it ourselves, first hand, we truly understand.

My Project

My students need the Monopoly Jr, and The Game of Life Jr games to learn about financial responsibility and making life decisions. Financial literacy is a key to navigating the world we live in.

Kindergarten students can begin to understand the basics of finances through play.

The Large Farm Lego set helps students learn to trade, share, and build. Creativity is a key component to their learning. Having a play kitchen will allow my students to practice choosing their food, preparing it, as well as sharing with others. The additional pots and pans will allow multiple students to be working together at the same time. By adding a variety of healthy food choices students can start to learn about making good food choices for themselves.
