Each year, we try to provide a new book to each student at the beginning of the school year. We are requesting books to give them during their first day of Pre-School.
Many of my students do not have the opportunity to own brand new books.
The books will introduce them to what Pre-School will be like before they start at school. Giving the students these books will allow them to have a book of their own and teach them how to properly take care of a book. The students can also use the books to read with their parents or caregivers to promote family engagement. By providing a book to our students, it helps engage families and promote reading.
