Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school is a Title I school in Norfolk, Virginia. The school is able to offer 100% free breakfast, lunch, and afternoon fruit/vegetable to all of our students. As a new teacher, I noticed that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. I am looking to keep things engaging and provide my students with a meaningful learning experience.

My students are motivated and want to show growth throughout the year.

They love math, and playing related programs on their Chromebooks. My students love to use a reading program to help increase their reading level and vocabulary.

My Project

Starting off the year right is always a awesome! I would love to start the school year off with all the supplies we need. Most of my students cannot afford their school supplies, so I want to try to help them out and get us started right.

We can start our school year (19-20) off right, with all these great supplies!

Pencils, paper, crayons, colored pencils, glue, and folders will help us with all our interactive notebooks and hands on activities.

Having all our basic essentials will help us make sure we are ready to go and learn right from the start! All these supplies will help us be successful from start to end!
