My Students
The students we have in our kindergarten classes are full of love, passion for learning and are so creative. They are so very full of life and are eager to ask many questions, explore and learn in any way possible.
Our school has 300 children who come from a wide variety of home lives.
Some people may think that since our school population is 100% free breakfast and lunch, we may be struggling or that the family or children are, but together we fight this stigma and work to improve and grow each child to their fullest potential.
This is so easily done, because no matter what, my kindergartens want to come to school each day to share in the rigorous work we do. These sweet students want to learn so many things, even if we don't always have all the resources.
My Project
This is going to be a challenging start to the school year, but if I can begin with a functional, organized classroom for my students then both them and I will be more ready and relaxed to do all that we can to learn!! This project will allow me to organize individual and center based activities and a label maker will allow everything to be clearly labeled with where everything belongs.
With sanitation and health being an issue, labeling student materials clearly will be beneficial for my young learners!
I want to ensure that they all have the materials they need in an organized, safe way. In addition to making the classroom feel safe and organized, it would also be helpful to have access to materials online through teachers pay teachers for an additional resource and need for those students learning from home. The teachers pay teachers resource will help students with learning from home and students will receive engaging activities to master skills such as letter recognition, letter sound knowledge, number identification, counting and cardinality and so much more.
