Learning through exploration is extremely important for our children. My students have limited hands on materials that build thinking and collaboration with the peers so a project like this will bring so many opportunities for them. We also do not have classroom sets of grade level guided reading books/audio books. All kids are reading at different levels and in small group instruction I will be in need of an assortment of beginner readers and above with these collections of books I can offer my students a variety of text and learning chances. I know my students will really enjoy having these opportunities and resources in our classroom.
