Our school is comprised of a truly diverse population. We have students in our classrooms who have come from all over the world and we acknowledge the various cultures and experiences they are able to bring into our building. We are a small neighborhood school deep in the heart of St. Petersburg, FL.
When looking through the window into our school, what do you see?
Teachers and students laughing, learning, and loving. We try to make learning fun for every child in an atmosphere that is nurturing and supportive of each child's abilities. In addition to the traditional curriculum we follow, that the state provides, we are working towards adding areas that make learning relevant to today's society.
My Project
We do not know what the first day of school is going to look like coming back to school after Covid-19 school closures. Imagine supplies waiting for students coming back to school with supplies out on their desks. The smile on their faces and the love they feel when they are coming back to school.
I want to set my students up for success.
We know that students are still currently learning at home, but coming back to school students will be ready to hit the ground running. They will be back with their friends and ready to learn. I want them to have the items they need to succeed. I also want to have the cleaning supplies that I will need to keep our classroom clean and germ-free!
