My Students
Driving through South Memphis, you will see the impact of long term, systemic poverty: crime, food deserts, complex family life and much more. These are just some of the daily hardships our students face in the 38106 zip code. Even with all of these hardships, you will still find students excited and ready 1to learn!

My students are some of the most brilliant, creative, artistic thinkers and problem solvers you will ever meet. My students are the next generation of readers, writers, scientist, historians, and problem solvers.
My Project
The school year has been flying by! These materials will help our classroom community refill on the supplies that keep us running. We have used up these materials with the day to day learning ! Everyday students are reading, thinking, and working hard to achieve their own personal education goals. Paper and pencils are in short supplies as we approach the end of semester one.
These 6th graders are starving for knowledge!
