Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to have the students keep a review notebook throughout the school year. It will be kept in files which are glued to make them like scrapbooking projects. This will allow students to add their own personal touches and take ownership. Since students will revisit these folders over and over throughout the year, the content is more apt to become part of their permanent memory.

I am also requesting easel pads to make eye-friendly anchor charts to keep new learning posted and revisited.

Repetition in various manners is key to truly learn something.

I will also need need some organizers to store their folders and make them accessible at any time. The last thing we need is a missing folder. I am depending on these to last for the entire year. By the time, "Testing" comes around (end of year), students would have visited these folders and all its contents so many times throughout the year, that they will not face anything unknown in any exam. No cramming will be necessary.
