My Students

I have the honor and privilege of working with a wonderful group of students who are between the ages of 18 and 21. My students are hilarious, hardworking, and sweet. My students, who happen to have profound cognitive and physical disabilities, attend a separate school due to the severity of their needs. My students are within two to three years of graduating and are beginning the process of transitioning to the workforce!

Our students focus on learning from a functional curriculum.

Most of our students come from low-income families. Despite the challenges our students face, they are very energetic, enthusiastic, and kind-spirited kids.

My Project

We need foil star cut-outs, decoration stars, motivational posters, a shining stars bulletin board, and decoration stars. These materials will be used to create a bulletin board with all of the names of students within our school. We will also use the stars to make decorations with student pictures on it. Our graduating students are entering the workforce soon. These motivational posters will help inspire them to stay on task and to work hard for success.

Our students love when our school is decorated.

It makes the students and staff have a more positive outlook on each day. Thank you for spreading positive vibes with your kindness!
