I teach 7th grade science and social studies. I have a large number of special education students within my class.

I am always looking for ways to get the "wiggle" out of some of my students. Many of them are often easily distracted and have the need to move around.

I found stand-up desks that are allow students to stand up and sit down without creating a large disruption in the class. The desks also come with a swinging foot rest so they can "wiggle" quietly.

I believe that this would be beneficial to many of my students because it would help to level the playing field for them by helping them to concentrate while in class.
