This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our 6th-grade classroom is in South Los Angeles, servicing a low-socioeconomic community. The requested items are two standing tables and two stools to help our students who struggle to focus when seated for long periods. Flexible seating options will help improve attention and engagement.
By providing stools and standing desks, we can better meet our students' diverse needs and create a more adaptable learning environment.
I'm optimistic that the ability to choose from different seating arrangements will help our students stay more engaged and perform better academically. By knowing what seating arrangement will fit their needs, students will also learn how to advocate for and identify their learning styles. Thank you very much for considering this request.
