My Project

My students are a bright bunch of children, and like all young kids, they enjoy hands-on activities and games. Being able to handle objects, manipulate letters and numbers, and play games that challenge their thinking helps them to learn. I would love to encourage their learning by having fun and exciting games and center activities for them to use to practice the skills and standards that we are learning in class. Rhyming has been one of the areas that students at my school have struggled with, so having the Rhyming Word Dominoes will give us a chance to build on this skill in a fun way. Counting from 1 to 100 is one of our Math standards for the year, having the magnetic number line for the class to handle while learning about which numbers come next while counting on will be a beneficial tool for our learning.
