My Project

We are dedicated to providing all students with the tools and resources they need to succeed, regardless of their abilities or challenges. We are excited to launch a special fundraising campaign on DonorsChoose to bring stand-up movement desks to our special education classrooms.

For many of our special education students, traditional classroom settings can present significant challenges, including difficulties with attention, focus, and sensory processing.

Stand-up movement desks offer a innovative solution by providing students with a flexible and dynamic learning environment that supports their unique needs.

Your donation to our DonorsChoose fundraiser will help us equip our special education classrooms with stand-up movement desks, allowing students to:

Promote Focus and Engagement: Movement has been shown to increase attention and engagement in learning activities, helping students stay focused and on task.

Support Sensory Needs: For students with sensory processing differences, the ability to move and shift positions can help regulate their sensory systems, leading to improved comfort and participation in classroom activities.
