My Students

My students are determined, curious, and constantly pushing the limits of learning. They want to know how our world works, how they can make it a better place to live and what has happened throughout our history. When we discuss something in class, they run with it and want to know so much more.

I could not be more proud of their desire to learn about and improve the world in which they live.

My students are kind, compassionate, driven, and the best part of coming to "work."

My Project

My students need to move! Kids benefit greatly from being able to learn in locations other than standard desks. I've provided many flexible seating options for them to allow for movement in their seats and locations to engage outside their seats; however, a standing desk would go a long way in getting those "ants" out of the "pants"! I can already see small groups crowded around this work station in collaboration. They are so appreciative of and generous with the options we already have; I know they would be incredibly excited to add such a great work space to our classroom. We also love to display our work and have run out of the tape we need to help us!
