My Project

Having stand-up desks available for my students would provide them the opportunity to learn and focus while standing. This would be fantastic for my students who struggle with sitting for long periods of time, fidgety students, or students that just need to be in their own space to focus better. A goal of this project is to offer a healthy option for them vs. sitting, which is what they are doing for most of their school day. I asked my students if utilizing stand-up desks would be something they would like; there was an overwhelming "YES" throughout my classes! I told them no promises, but I would try. Being an elective teacher, my students choose to be with me; this is a great feeling for me as a teacher!
