My Project

For years, my classroom has used Standing Tables as a way to diversify seating options and best tap into student creativity. As great as those tables are, students do like to sit now and again and these Stools are perfect for the taller surface of my tables. These seats enable anxious students a chance to "swivel in place" to "get the wiggles out". And these are items that get a LOT of heavy use day in and day out. By donating to this project, you will therefore be directly impacting the students in my classroom each and every day rather than just for a specific subject or project. These stools are very well built and I expect to use them for several years. And so in that way, your donation will actually be impacting potentially hundreds of students! True, stools may seem a rather practical and unexciting item to add into a classroom, but I strive to make my classroom more of a clubhouse than a classroom. Diverse seating options such as these spinning/rolling stools are a vital piece of the learning environment I am seeking to build for our future leaders and problem solvers.
