Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 1st graders are resilient! They always try their best at everything that is thrown at them. From academics and physical activities to routine daily tasks, our 1st graders give it their all. Every day, we ask our students to bring their belongings to recess & lunch and then lug various equipment downstairs when we have PE.

These stair climbing carts will allow our little 1st grade learners to have an easier way of transporting their belongings, lunchboxes, and various PE equipment up and down 2 flights of stairs multiple times a day!

It will make a world of a difference, especially for those who have any special needs, disabilities, or anyone who has a harder time getting up & down the stairs.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
