My Project

The students at our school love to put on plays and musicals! For the 2022-2023 school year we are adding a Fall Semester Stage Tech class. Students in the class will help build the sets for our annual musicals and be trained to use the lighting and sound equipment effectively.

We need tools to help the Stage Tech students build the sets for our theatre productions!

A miter saw and stand, sawhorses, and a drill and impact driver set will give us a good start toward having the tools we need to build the sets each year. Students will use these tools to complete hands-on class projects like cutting lumber for set pieces and assembling the framing structures. Students will learn to measure, cut, and safely put together basic set pieces like platforms and walls.
