Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As our theatre program continues to grow, students are beginning to express more of an interest in the stage management side of productions.

Stage Management is all about organization, and these materials will help keep actors, stage crew, and student directors organized and ready for rehearsal!

The students have the unique opportunity to develop their own scripts as part of both class and extra curricular work. However, stapled or clipped scripts easily fall apart and student actors and directors are spend rehearsal sorting papers, or worse carrying a bulky chromebook. The spiral binder and lamination will allow students to easily store and work with their printed scripts.

Whiteboards allow design students to quickly plan and brainstorm as they experiment with various options for their final designs. The ability to laminate will let aspiring stage managers reuse groundplans and other planning materials throughout the entire rehearsal process.
