My Project

Instead of just listening to me talk about numbers, my kindergarteners will get to be the builders of their own understanding. When they stack blocks to represent numbers, they're not just seeing numbers—they're making them real and understandable.

No matter how kids learn best—whether they're visual, auditory, or hands-on learners—there's something for everyone with manipulatives (magnets addition machine and blocks).

It's like having a big toolbox full of different ways to learn, so every child can find what works best for them.

By letting kindergarteners play and explore with manipulatives, I'm not just teaching them about numbers; I'm sparking their curiosity, building their confidence, and setting them up for a lifelong love of learning.
