My students need sport stacking cups, mats, and timers so they have the opportunity to prepare for competitions, build mental awareness, hand-eye coordination, and confidence.
My students are a multi-cultural melting pot of curiosity, constantly looking for new opportunities to grow. Instead of going home after school and choosing to do anything else, they choose to spend much of their time exploring new ideas and opportunities in the library.
They are filled with an intense desire to not only succeed, but excel as well.
Every day, I have the pleasure of watching them grow, discover, and help each other with challenges both academic and personal.
My Project
Providing professional cups, mats, and timers will allow students to build hand-eye coordination, mental awareness, and confidence in a sport which is accessible to more than the most athletic of students.
Many students at my school have a strong competitive drive and yet have not found their competitive niche.
Allowing students the opportunity to build cup stacking skills will allow students to compete within the World Sport Stacking Association tournaments and events.
These resources will give kids an additional extra-curricular activity to participate in and build friendships. High school students feel the need to belong. By giving them the opportunity to build friendships and teams, it gives them the feeling of belonging.
