My Project

Classrooms need supply organization. There are so many things that we use every day that run out and need to be replenished. Without good systems, our supplies are just living in ziploc bags under the teacher's desk.

These containers would provide a space where supplies could live, labeled for students to easily access in our one storage cupboard.

I literally have 25 gallon size ziploc bags crammed under my teacher desk because there is no easy way to organize glue sticks, whiteboard markers, highlighters, pencils, post-its, scissors, index cards, pens, pencils and every other supply we use on the regular.

These bins would make such a world of difference in our classroom. When students tell me we are out of glue sticks, I have to shuffle through the ziploc bags to find them and it is always an ordeal. Because they are stackable, they could even sit in a corner of the classroom where they could be out in the open.

I am also requesting some nesting wicker baskets to have out the most frequently used items where students can just grab them from a shelf.
