My Students

My students are 6 and 7 years old and love to come to school! It is my job to inspire them to want to learn something new each and every day! I see it as my responsibility to challenge them and allow them to grow emotionally and academically. Nowadays times are tough all over the world. It always seems that there is a lack of funding and materials to support the learning I am trying to instill in my students. I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hopeful to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic success!

My Project

My students are constantly out of their seats, tipping their chairs back, sitting on their feet and moving around. By bringing flexible seating into my classroom, students will be able to remain seated throughout an assignment!

If students can focus, they will learn more each and every day!

It is my job as their teacher to teach them to their maximum ability. I am thrilled with the thought of looking at focused little faces every day! I don't enjoy seeing them struggle with sitting still.

It is my hope that bringing these stability chairs into our classroom will solve many of our focusing problems!
