My students are from many different backgrounds. We have families that have two working parents to families that are grandparents raising their grandchildren. The families come from a wide range of economical backgrounds. Our school became a full Title I school this year which means we have more students qualifying for free lunch than ever before. The income level in our area is on the decline. Parent contributions are few and far between. As a teacher, I either supply what my students need or reach out to people like you!
