Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from low-income families in Detroit, MI. They are sweet, energetic, and eager to learn! These students come from diverse backgrounds. Some are bilingual or learning English as a second language, and they have various needs.
My school is a positive and energetic learning community with students who love school.
My students love to learn and get excited about coming to school. I want to provide all of my students with materials that are best suited for their needs.
Our public school bends over backward to help our students as much as possible, but budget cuts have severely cut funding. I can't afford to give them everything they need.
My Project
My amazing students have been working hard all year long. I am so proud of their progress and how engaged they are in their learning and their responsibility in attending class each day, trying their best, completing their work, turning in their homework. I would love to surprise my wonderful students with fun St. Patrick's Day gifts to show them just how special they are! These St. Patrick's Day decorations and treats will be a great reward for all of their hard work. I would love to surprise them with fun gifts to show them just how special they are!
