Spy School Classroom Transformation: Unique Educational Missions

My Students

My students are a school family. Our school and community persevered through Hurricane Harvey together in 2017-18. They are passionate, kind, and driven individuals who thrive in a collaborative, digital, hands-on learning environment.

They are critical thinkers who we want to empower to be solution seekers through fun, engaging room transformations.

We want our students to feel the magic of learning in a themed transformation. We want them to feel the excitement of working with their "spy team" to finish their educational missions while under the glow of black lights while avoiding the lasers (white yarn). Sprinkling the magic of learning one transformation at time.

My Project

These materials will be utilized in an innovative classroom transformation. Students will become "secret agents" through STEM spy training sessions in our classroom. Students missions and training will be centered around integrating technology, reading, language arts, math, and social studies team building STEM units challenges. These educational integrated units will provide my students with a unique themed experience that makes learning collaborative and fun. These rigorous activities will foster excitement, collaboration, and memorial educational experiences. Our class will use these black lights, lasers (white yarn), and spy kits (flashlights, invisible ink makers, sunglasses, agent lanyards) to create memorable, innovative, and collaborative lessons for years to come. These materials could also be used in classroom interactive educational glow games as well. The possibilities are endless with this classroom transformation kit.
