This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I have a very interactive science classroom! I feel kids should be seen doing, talking and having fun while learning. While that takes on the non-traditional learning styles, my students gain more in-depth knowledge because of it from playing with LED lighted gloves rather than reading it in a book. However, this comes at a small price of broken supplies that need to be replaced or tuned up such as our LED writing and drawing pads. When its used it gets warn out.
Help me bring my learning centers back to life by replacing old or broken items such as my sensory force in motion touchless car, that my students have been using to process life skills and learn about science.
These hands-on learning materials have made my classroom learning environment spark with interest and have taken a beating with over 400 kids using them through the school year. It used to make me nervous for kids to overuse them as I would never be able to purchase more, but thanks to Donors Choose, I embrace this style of learning!
