My Project

I am a first year 2nd grade teacher with a classroom of very diverse learners. We have been working very hard to build community. Our classroom thrives on acceptance and understanding. My students have not had a non-pandemic affected school year. These students are in need of materials for our classroom to help us grow!

Please consider helping our students sprout in 2nd Grade!

My students lack proper audio supplies to fully maximize time when utilizing technology. My students need more hands-on learning experiences to increase literacy and fine motor. In a classroom with many struggling readers who have artistic talents, I want all students to feel success in their strengths. We lack basic supplies. Utilizing paint and clay would be firsts in our classroom. We have limited space and organization will help us maximize our learning time.

Ms. Schaefer focuses on social and emotional well-being while holding high expectations for her students. We are a community classroom.
