This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
As we get closer to the end of the school year, a lot of materials have begun to deplete. The GLOBE Club is continuing their efforts to keep the school environmentally friendly through the recycling program. Some materials to keep up moral are the large garbage bags for the recycling bins in classrooms and the Scott towels for clean up during the sorting session. The club has also started gardening and need the nursery pots for seedlings, plant labels, and permanent markers so they can be efficient.
Learning about should be fun, no matter the content area.
With that said, I try to make my Anatomy & Physiology class more fun during dissections by allowing the students to feel like doctors. That's where the isolation gowns come in, giving that real-life feel. We are in high pollen season and tissues are a must for the students. The pencils and expo markers are for various activities and assignments. The laser printer is for differential instruction. Some students cannot look at a screen for a long period of time and I would like to accommodate them by having color print copies for them so they can continue learning.
