This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are very diverse and eager to find new ways to stay active and involved in new and upcoming sport opportunities. With the recent pandemic, middle and elementary school sports have been on a constant decline. In this recent school year, Baltimore City Public Schools has found a new way to increase extracurricular activities through partnerships and sponsorships. With these materials students will be prepared for high school sports and even learn new skills in PE class for basketball, soccer and volleyball.

Students have spent time playing with old materials from previous years that have been broken or torn.

These new materials will encourage student participation and promote a positive learning environment.
