Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Spring has sprung and that means we are trying to get outside for gross motor time in between the rain drops. Our little learners are coming out of the winter stretch and need to expel their energy, but one of our only options to do so that is not inside our classroom is right outside our door in the hallway. The items we have been using all winter are not holding our little learners attention any longer.

Our little learners are looking to expand their indoor gross motor activity options and continue their development of whole body movement, coordination, and balance.

I am looking to provide students with new age appropriate basketballs to go with the basketball hoop that we currently have, soccer ball nets along with soccer balls, wiggle rider cars and scooters to replace our tricycles. These items will enhance our current indoor gross motor activity items and get out some energy while we wait for the rain to subside.
