Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our resilient Title I school, located in a vibrant yet challenging community, our students are kindred spirits on a mission of love. In our diverse family of learners, where immigrant stories intertwine with dreams, a shared commitment to kindness prevails.

Our students have embarked on a heartwarming journey, transcending socioeconomic challenges with the magic of their compassionate hearts.

My students are going to put together Valentine gift bags with stuffed animals, earrings, claw clips, reusable dish cloths (to promote good health) and more to be distributed to various families within our community that could use a mental health boost during these bleak winter months. Our families will love the fidget toys, keychains, squishies, stickers and stress balls. All of these items will be placed in the reusable gift bags.

Through this collective effort, our students aspire to spread health and wellness, transcending challenges with the transformative power of compassion. Thank you so much for your support!
