Spread The Spirit of DECA

My students need a photo printer, case and supplies to develop their spirit wall in the classroom for their 2016-2017 school year of all DECA events, competitions, awards and field trips.

My Students

Our Stoughton DECA students are community oriented, academically prepared, responsible leaders in our community.

In 2015-2016 they raised $250 for Muscular Dystrophy and $400 for cancer awareness at our Relay for Life this year.

Our DECA students mentor students in the area of entrepreneurship, business, finance, hospitality and marketing. They host events at our high school to encourage students to have more involvement in their school such as operating the school store, ice-cream socials, and hosting an annual trade fair.

Our students study hard to prepare for business competitions at district, state and national level. We would like a photo printer to document our spirit and progress of all of our events. We plan to make a photo spirit wall with this new printer starting in September.

My Project

Students will take pictures of each of our events from fundraising, competitions, community service and social activities. Our 2016-2017 spirit wall will be built in September upon returning from our summer break.

After each of our events, we will print photos and keep a memory of all our events to reflect on our learning and growth.

Every time a student enters our classroom they will see themselves and other students on this spirit wall having fun and learning in new ways!

Our students create and attend DECA events from many business classes offered at our high school such as Leadership and Career Development, Principles of Business, Principles of Marketing, Financial Literacy and more!
